Professor at Tashkent State University of Law and member of the Terminology Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers. Founder of the Yurislingvistika digital platform — research, textbooks and teaching materials where law meets language, all in one place.
Foreword
Welcome to the Yurislingvistika website! It was created to develop in Uzbekistan the discipline of jurilinguistics — a field that took shape in the scholarship of the world’s leading countries and continues to grow rapidly today.
Here you will find international and Uzbek news in jurilinguistics, research work, textbooks, study guides, scholarly articles, and training courses together with their curricula.
We believe the development of this discipline will play an important role in advancing the study of law and language in Uzbekistan, in improving the judicial and legal system and law-making, and in the progress of our country as a whole.
We would be glad to receive your comments and suggestions on how to develop this field further, and thank you in advance for your cooperation!
Sincerely, Professor Sh. N. Kuchimov
